Veritas bench dogs are made from solid brass, making them non-corroding and less harmful to your tools. The face has a 2° inward facing angle and is cross hatched, both giving that extra grip. Fitting snuggly into a 3/4" hole in the horizontal surface or leg, a spring mounted into the side allows it to move freely, yet holds it at the desired projection. Sold as a pair.
Standard bench dogs have a length of 111mm, for thicker bench tops and solid legs, and Bench Pups®, unique to Veritas are 60mm long for benches that are not as thick.
